We had a fantastic dinner here two fabulous steaks that were incredible. The flavor and taste were perfect. The appetizer was FANTASTIC, clams Casino. My wife had prime rib and I had sirloin. They were cooked perfectly. Will definitely be coming back. Will now be one of our have to do's when visiting Williamsburg.

Aberdeen Barn Steakhouse is a terrific place for a high-quality dinner. The restaurant is themed to resemble an old style barn with wooden walls and ceilings. Everything was nicely decorated and the staff was well-dressed. The menu had a large selection of steaks and seafood. For an appetizer, I ordered the potato skins topped with melted cheese and bacon. For my entrée, I ordered ordered the top sirloin, which came with a side salad and mashed potatoes. Everything was cooked perfectly and tasted excellent. For desert, I indulged in a large brownie sundae, which was delicious. Complimentary cheese and crackers were also brought out for the table. Needless to say, I left very full and satisfied. Beyond the food, what really stood out to me was the top-notch service. My waiter, Harris, was very attentive, professional, and friendly. I really enjoyed every part of my dinner and I highly recommend Aberdeen Barn Steakhouse.

While I have eaten at the Charlottesville location much more often, whenever I am in Williamsburg, I will always stop by and have a meal here. I absolutely love their steaks and service. For this visit, the food was outstanding, and the service was even better. When you arrive, you are provided with cheese and crackers. One of my favorite parts of the meal. For dinner, we had the thick prime rib, surf and turf, and filet mignon. As always, it did not disappoint. The premium cuts of beef are top-of-the-line and full of flavor. Very tender and melts in your mouth the way of filet mignon should. Love the fact that they serve their steaks on sizzling cast-iron plates. Apple Crumble Pie completed the meal. I have always loved the service when I go to any location, but Mr. Harris James is special. Just incredible customer service and one of the friendliest servers you will ever meet. If you have the opportunity, I would request him. I absolutely love the decor within the restaurant. It genuinely feels like you are in a steakhouse. Just incredible ambience from start to finish. So if you are in Williamsburg, or passing through, this is a must place to stop.

This was a fun charming restaurant. I was shocked to see match books like years ago on the host stand. Harris was our waiter and he was amazing! We got free cheese and crackers as well as bread and butter Bread was fantastic. I ordered a prime rib with garlic mashed potatoes. The prime rib could have done with more seasoning but was perfectly cooked. The mashed potatoes were incredible. It also came salad with a little bit of everything in it a piece of broccoli and olive tomato. Waiter brings out dressing and scoops them over your salad they have ranch, blue cheese and Italian all tasted great. (Blue cheese was on the mild side) We were stuffed so no dessert definitely a place to check out if your in the area and want steak.

My wife and I visited on Friday evening. The restaurant was busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The ambiance was very nice, and old fashioned steakhouse. I had the full cut Strip steak, and it was truly the best steak I’ve had in a while. It came out on a sizzling iron skillet cooked perfectly. My wife had salad and French Onion Soup which was delicious. The rolls and barn cheese and crackers are also a nice compliment. The next time that we are in Williamsburg, we’ll definitely be back!

My husband and I went here for the first time on Monday 7/21 for my birthday! We arrived to a welcoming smile from the Hostess who sat us right away with our reservation. After only a few seconds of being at our table we were greeted by our server Mike! He helped us make our selections of appetizers and entrees. He is such an amazing server and you can tell he is passionate about his job. We overheard him having conversations with other tables and giving each and everyone his undivided attention. He really made our first experience memorable. We had the “oysters” and “bacon wrapped scallops” for appetizers then we both ordered the “Delmonico Steak”(i got the regular cut and my husband got the bone in cowboy cut), both came with a salad and a choice of side(i got the baked potato and he got the mashed potatoes with an additional side of the mac and cheese. Everything was amazing and cooked to perfection including the warm bread that was also brought to the table. Mike was exceptional and so were the other servers in that area around us.

Hubert was a top-notch server! So kind & professional! Also the young man from Jamaica was really nice! I gave service four stars because they sat us in the back where you can see the entryway into the kitchen, and the dishes are loud, and I figured it was because of our service dog. The young lady initially called over the manager to discuss where to put us because of the dog, and I tried to tell them that we could fit her underneath any of the booths that we saw, but they totally ignored me. At first, I just tried to move up one table to not be staring into the kitchen (I don’t like saving a lot of money to go to a fancy restaurant that I won’t be able to afford to go to ever again, plus because it’s out of town, just to stare into a kitchen and listen to loud dishes) and the young lady seating us, who was nice, was contesting us moving up one table. I tried to explain not wanting to be right by the kitchen like that, but she said they couldn’t change it because of server’s sections. Finally, my male partner went to the manager to explain, who still pushed back & wanted to keep us in the back room corner near the kitchen because of our service dog. My partner is actually a kitchen manager, so he did get the manager to let us move (still not the pretty main area of seating), where my dog stayed under the booth and no one even knew we had her. Being treated like that really spoils an experience. Stars would be lower if not for Hubert and the nice guy from Jamaica (sorry, didn’t catch his name). The atmosphere inside was very pretty, though, especially in the main area where I had hoped to be seated (and I was one of the very first people at the door when it opened). I had two excellent martinis, a Milky Way one and an espresso martini. The steaks were good, but not the best. The steak that my son got off the kid’s menu was cooked WAY better than the filet mignon I ordered, lol. My partner loved his ribs, which I also tried, and they were excellent. My French onion soup was VERY bland (partner agreed). Ah well, if I did live here & could blow another $200, I sadly would not go back.
